"The Whale Fin" by Heike Mühlhaus
Designed by Heike Mühlhaus, the whale fin at the Maschsee/ Sprengel Museum bus stop was initially intended to represent a wing - with the associations of momentum, wings and protection. However, since the wing has been shining in a silvery grey since its completion, many people think they can recognise a tail fin of a diving whale in the Maschsee/ Sprengel Museum bus stop, especially at night when the tower glows blue.
At the bus stop Maschsee/ Sprengel-Museum the ring line 100/200 stops.
