Night of the Museums 2025

On 14 June 2025 Hanover opens the doors to over 20 museums and exhibition centres for a very special night of culture. The Night of the Museums invites you to discover history, art and creativity in a new way - until late in the evening.

Many of the participating locations offer exclusive guided toursinteractive offers and extraordinary programme items that have been specially designed for the occasion. Whether art lovers, history buffs or casual visitors - there is something for everyone here. Numerous facilities are Partly barrier-free accessible.

10 years UNESCO City of Music - a musical highlight

In 2025, the event will mark a special anniversary: Ten years of UNESCO City of Music. To mark the occasion, the Hannover Marketing & Tourismus GmbH (HMTG) a varied programme of music. From atmospheric sound installations to Live concerts in museum rooms - On this evening, music becomes the connecting element between past and present.

The Night of the Museums thus offers far more than classic exhibitions - it becomes a stage for an atmospheric interplay of visual art, historical experience and urban sound culture.
