10 years of ZOO-RUN

In the zoo's anniversary year, the popular ZOO-RUN is also celebrating its tenth anniversary: on 22 May from 18:00, young and old running enthusiasts alike will be jogging, walking, running, jumping - in disguise if they like - around the zoo world for the tenth time. By taking part, all runners support the zoo's future project "New Giraffe House" and thus contribute to the protection and conservation of the Rothschild giraffes. Worldwide populations of these long-legged beauties have declined by around 40 per cent since the 1985s. The ZOO-RUN is being supported by the strong-as-a-bear partners Lotto Niedersachsen, Gehrke Econ and Audi BKK.
