Buzz Kull

BUZZ KULL is the musical project of Sydney-based artist Marc Dwyer, who has been shaking up Australia's electronic music scene with his dark, uncompromising sound since 2012 - and far beyond. With three albums released and collaborations with acts such as Liars, Ellen Allien and Death Bells, Buzz Kull has established himself internationally as an innovative representative between darkwave and EBM.

His sound deliberately crosses the boundaries of classic genres: darkwave meets synthpop, minimal wave and a raw, driving energy familiar from EBM. The music acts as a sonic outlet for existential questions, emotional emptiness and dark longings - and always remains precise, intense and stirring.

With powerful drum machines, cutting synths and striking vocals, Buzz Kull unfolds a hypnotic atmosphere reminiscent of the abysses of post-punk as well as the cool aesthetics of coldwave.
