His black two-fingered moustache, the too-small bowler hat on his head, cane, baggy trousers, shoes that were far too big and his unmistakable waddling gait - Charlie Chaplin was one of the most influential comedians of the 20th century and a multi-talented artist.

DUO ESTATE CINÉ CONCERT... Originally founded as a trio during their student days, the duo Estate consists of the two Detmold musicians Santhosh Hintze (percussion) and Sven Gerrlich (piano). In the musical realisation of their silent films, such as Charlie Chaplin's Circus, the two musicians largely stick to the original music, which was composed by Chaplin himself.

The unusual but exciting instrumental combination of piano and percussion invites us to an entertaining evening and takes us back to the golden silent film era of the 1920s.
