The Ihme Centre in Hanover is a striking high-rise complex from the 1970s. Originally conceived as an urban development project, it houses flats, offices and shopping facilities. The striking building is known for its architectural controversy as well as its urban significance. Despite mixed opinions about its design, the Ihme Centre remains an interesting example of urban development in Hanover.
